Every mars, the legal technology world makes its way to New York for Legalweek and this year was no exception. From mars 9-13, Legalweek 2026 took over the West Side Highway, and CDS set out to make the most of every moment.
With the move to the Javits Center, Legalweek had a new backdrop but for CDS, the week has always been about more than just the venue. It’s about showing up for the community, strengthening partnerships, and creating memorable moments in our very own hometown.
And this year? We did all of that and then some.
A Fresh Look, Same CDS Energy
If you haven’t checked out the CDS website lately, now’s the time.
Our refreshed digital experience brings a cleaner, more modern feel to how we show up online from updated navigation to new pages that better reflect who we are today. You’ll also find a new team page and a closer look at our global footprint.
It’s the same CDS you’ve seen lately – real experts delivering real results – just more mature, and ready to help you obtain optimal outcomes.
The First Ever Legaltech Roast: Because Not Everything Needs a Panel

After long days of sessions, meetings, and navigating packed agendas, we wanted to give Legalweek attendees something different.
So we did.
Legaltech Roast: Live from New York brought the industry together for a night that traded slide decks for stand-up comedy. Hosted by Chuck Nice, the show featured an incredible lineup including Ashley Austin Morris, Brian Scott McFadden, Caitlin Peluffo, Dan Naturman, Raanan Hershberg, and Tom Cotter.
The room was packed. The laughs were loud. And for a couple of hours, the entire community got to relax, connect, and enjoy something refreshingly human.
Because sometimes the best conversations don’t happen in breakout sessions, they happen somewhere between punchlines.

Lights, Camera, Innovation: 5 in 5 Live from Relativity HQ
Legalweek also gave us the perfect excuse to spend time with our longtime partners at Relativity and hit record while we were at it.
Directly from their headquarters in Hudson Yards, we filmed a special live episode of 5 in 5, capturing the momentum of the week in real time.
In this episode, Michael Obregon, Sales Engineering Manager at Relativity, sits down with Michael Milicevic, VP, eDiscovery Products & Solutions at CDS, to talk through CDS’ innovation journey, from the development of our Vision Intelligence Suite to how AI-powered solutions unlock Relativity’s full potential in driving smarter, more efficient outcomes for legal teams.
It’s a conversation rooted in real work, real collaboration, and what it actually takes to turn innovation into something useful.

Team CDS: Alignment, Momentum, and What’s Next
Behind the scenes, Legalweek is also one of the few times our teams can come together in person across roles, regions, and disciplines.
This year, that time was spent doing what we do best: collaborating.
From strategy sessions to cross-functional conversations, the focus was clear: how do we continue to show up better for our clients in a fast-moving year ahead?
We left New York with more alignment, more momentum, and a shared understanding of where we’re going next.

Until Next Year, Legalweek
Legalweek 2026 brought the energy. CDS brought the people, the ideas, and a few unforgettable moments along the way.
From comedy stages to content creation to team strategy, the week was a reminder of what makes this industry and this community so dynamic and why CDS is simply different. If you didn’t catch us this year, trust us, you won’t want to miss us next year.
