Deerrun Jea is a CDS Product and Solutions Manager based in New York, focused on Convert and Vision. As a lawyer-technologist, he integrates the practice of law and the impact of technology, including advising both external and internal clients on workflows and strategies related to eDiscovery. He has over 20 years of legal and eDiscovery experience, including multidistrict litigation, FTC/DOJ second requests, and internal investigations.

Candice Kalis is a licensed attorney and Senior Consultant with over ten years of experience in eDiscovery. A former attorney with the Partnership for Civil Justice Fund and the Social Security Administration, Candice gained an in-depth knowledge of information law, specializing in actions under the FOIA statute. At CDS, she has steered litigation projects through the full EDRM lifecycle, managed attorney review teams, executed privilege reviews, and provided extensive end user training in Relativity, Ringtail, Brainspace, and other platforms. Candice specializes in developing customized eDiscovery solutions for government agencies. She recently designed and implemented a Relativity Pilot program for the Department of Commerce to address their backlog of FOIA requests.
Evan Benjamin is a Senior eDiscovery Strategist at CDS and enjoys sharing his wisdom and passion for blockchain technology, GDPR, and many of the more in-depth processes that make eDiscovery work behind the scenes.
As Client Director at CDS, Nicole advises attorneys and ediscovery practitioners on managing electronic data through the EDRM lifecycle. She is passionate about developing sophisticated workflows and takes a hands-on consultative approach. She draws on more than a decade of eDiscovery experience to advise clients on advanced analytics and litigation support technologies to efficiently investigate data, cull data volumes and implement cost-saving solutions. Nicole has also managed large-scale document review projects and assisted with privilege reviews and privilege log creation. She is a Relativity Certified Administrator.
As a Client Director, Brian Zimmermann manages workflows and provides high-level expertise to his clients. He has over 7 years of eDiscovery and legal experience and has consulted on multiple large matters for a variety of clients, including Am Law 100 firms, global financial services organizations and multi-national pharmaceutical companies. In his time with CDS, he has managed challenging eDiscovery matters including second requests, significant multi-district litigation and large class action cases. Brian is a licensed attorney in the state of Illinois.
Louis Cona is the forensic services manager at CDS and has 8 years’ experience in the field of digital forensics. His main duties include complex data collections, computer forensic investigations and the training of team members in the use of forensic and eDiscovery software and hardware solutions. Additionally, Louis provides consulting services in the areas of forensic data collection, data management & analysis, and eDiscovery best practices. Louis holds a BS in Computer Information Systems (Networking Security & Digital Forensics) and is ACE and EnCE certified.

In his role as General Counsel for CDS, Mr. Medina is responsible for the overall legal affairs of the company, including drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts, advising executive management on corporate strategic initiatives and employment matters, managing litigations, and directing CDS’ compliance and risk management posture in all areas of the business.
