Relativity Fest 2025: What. A. Vibe.
From the buzzing keynote and packed breakout sessions to late-night connections and bold ideas, Complete Discovery Source (CDS) showed up and stood out in Chicago. Whether you caught us on stage, at the booth, or at the party everyone was talking about, CDS was at the center of the action; leading conversations, celebrating innovation, and showing what true partnership looks like in an evolving eDiscovery landscape.
The Keynote: Innovation, You Are The Best Thing…
Relativity’s opening keynote set the tone: AI isn’t coming, it’s already at the party. From aiR for Review and aiR for Privilege, Relativity CEO Phil Saunders announced that both would now be included in standard RelativityOne subscriptions, to aiR Assist, a conversational early case assessment tool that helps uncover relationships, identify data gaps, and builds strategy faster, proving AI is shaping the future of eDiscovery. But that is still not enough.
Add the Collect API, designed to ingest data from emerging GenAI sources like Microsoft Copilot and OpenAI, and the launch of Rel Labs, a new investment and innovation hub, and the message is clear: those ready to experiment early will define the next era of efficiency, accuracy, and client impact.
All great things since at CDS, helping clients navigate what’s next is what we do best.
Session: Empowering Client Success in an AI and Cloud World

What does client success look like in an era defined by AI and cloud transformation? For Jonathan Solomon, Director of Operational Development at CDS, the answer is: evolve or get left behind.
As the first Relativity partner to achieve the Customer Success Competency, CDS has redefined how client relationships are built, measured, and scaled. Jonathan shared how the company’s approach has evolved from traditional support to a consultative partnership model, where teams collaborate directly with clients to optimize workflows and outcomes.
He emphasized that the introduction of AI has brought new pressures and new opportunities. “It’s good pressure,” he said, noting that client expectations are higher than ever. CDS meets those expectations by listening first, slowing down the process, and investing in customized training and education to ensure each client’s workflow is optimized for their unique needs.
Jonathan highlighted that client success isn’t a destination; it’s an ongoing process of learning, adapting, and improving. As CDS continues to innovate, its commitment remains constant: empowering clients to thrive in an AI-driven world.
Session: Mastering Litigation Success: Unleashing the Power of Relativity aiR

During this engaging session, Kevin Chacon, Consulting Services Manager, joined an expert panel to discuss how Relativity aiR is transforming litigation strategy and case development. Drawing from his experience working with firms in Switzerland and across Europe, Kevin emphasized the importance of flexibility in how AI can be adapted to different legal systems and workflows.
He shared insights on how practitioners are using aiR to build case strategy more efficiently, while still showcasing the irreplaceable value of human legal judgment. Kevin underscored that AI isn’t replacing lawyers; it’s empowering them to focus on what matters most: interpreting evidence and crafting compelling arguments. His takeaway for attendees: “Just start using it.” The earlier firms adopt AI-driven tools, the faster they’ll see measurable gains in precision, efficiency, and client confidence.
The Best In Innovation: Act, Beyond, Discover

CDS hit the Spotlight Stage three times as finalists in the 2025 Relativity Innovation Awards, debuting our Vision suite of proprietary tools that enhance RelativityOne, and walked away a winner, earning our first-ever Innovation Award for Vision Financial Analysis in the Beyond category. Safe to say, we’re officially proud to be beyond the best.
Here’s how our Vision suite stole the show:
- Beyond – Vision Financial Analysis (Winner)
- Presented by Mark Anderson
- This winning solution tackles massive financial datasets by transforming millions of rows of Excel data into structured, searchable records enriched with AI-powered summaries and dashboards. Investigators can now filter, visualize, and cross-reference transactions with clarity, turning complexity into actionable insight.
- Discover – Vision Search Toolkit
- Presented by Michael Milicevic
- This toolkit breaks through traditional search limitations, expanding Relativity’s reach to images and low-quality scans. The result? Unified, intelligent search that improves speed, accuracy, and confidence.
- Act – Vision AI Empowered DSAR
- Presented by Mark Anderson
- This AI-driven solution automates sensitive data identification and redaction for DSARs, reducing costs by up to 80%, redefining how teams handle high-volume, manual review projects.
CDS’ win in the Beyond category reflects our ongoing mission to push boundaries, drive innovation, and empower our clients with solutions that deliver real results, but the best is yet to come. Want to get to know these better? Reach out at .
