At CDS, real results matter—but it’s our people who make the real difference. Real People, Real Results is a monthly series that spotlights the individuals behind our work, giving you a closer look at their journey, expertise, and what drives them.
This month, meet Ann Williamson, Senior Project Manager at Complete Discovery Source.
Ann brings more than 20 years of experience across eDiscovery, litigation technology, and legal education. A licensed attorney in Louisiana and South Carolina, she has spent her career helping legal teams navigate complex data, evolving technology, and high-stakes matters with clarity and confidence.
Before joining CDS, Ann built a uniquely well-rounded career—teaching paralegal and eDiscovery courses for over a decade, training legal teams on platforms like Relativity and DISCO, contributing to AI-driven review initiatives, and holding leadership roles in litigation technology, sales enablement, and product education. Her background gives her a rare ability to see both the legal and technical sides of every challenge.
She joined CDS in 2023 as a Senior Project Manager, where she leads large-scale, complex eDiscovery engagements from start to finish. Ann is dual-certified across both leading legal technology platforms, Relativity and DISCO, bringing deep platform fluency that allows her to design custom review workflows using AI, TAR, and TAR 2.0—and to translate ESI orders into practical, defensible execution plans that work in the real world, not just in theory.
Always growth-minded, Ann is currently pursuing Agile, SCRUM, and Kanban certification, continuing her commitment to smarter workflows, stronger collaboration, and better client outcomes.
Here’s your chance to get to know her better. Meet Ann Williamson.
What’s your “superpower” when it comes to eDiscovery?
Helping clients understand advanced technical concepts and how to streamline workflows, so eDiscovery doesn’t feel so overwhelming.
What is your favorite part of working at CDS?
The people, hands down. I truly work with some of the best people in this business. Everyone is quick to offer a solution and/or a free hand to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients. I am eternally grateful for my CDS team.
What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you?
All the random hats I’ve worn simply because I was curious about them… working as a lobbyist, writing policy papers for a government-watchdog group, managing a home health care company, working in sales, teaching, and even publishing a magazine. If I’m interested, I’m going to dive in.
What’s a small daily ritual that helps keep you grounded?
Walks and playtime with my pup. She’s a constant reminder that even the big things aren’t all that big, and the small things are the ones that matter the most.
Who has been a mentor or role model in your career, and what did you learn from them?
My Dad. We worked together for many years in my life before eDiscovery. He taught me that there is nothing too big for me to tackle, nothing that I cannot do with the right mindset and resources, and if I want something – go get it. He’s been gone since 2015, but I keep that fire in my belly because of him.
We’re glad you took to the time to meet Ann Williamson! Look out next month as we highlight more of the real people driving real results at CDS. To learn more about CDS, reach out to us .
