Some of the best conversations about new technology happen when you get practitioners in a room together and ask a simple question: What is this actually like to use? 

That’s the idea behind two upcoming Relativity User Groups in California. 

On August 18 in San Diego and August 20 in Los Angeles, CDS will join Relativity and members of the local community for candid conversations about using aiR for Review, aiR for Case Strategy and aiR Assist in real-world workflows. 

We’re especially excited about these sessions because they represent something new in our partnership with Relativity. CDS is the first partner Relativity is working with to help facilitate its User Groups, bringing our practitioners into the conversation to help people learn from one another.  

Less Demo. More Discussion.

As more teams start working with AI, the questions naturally become more practical. 

Where does aiR fit into the workflows we already have? How are other teams thinking about defensibility and QC? What happens when you start working with larger matters? What’s working well? What has been harder than expected? 

These are questions that are difficult to answer in a product demo because there often isn’t one answer. That’s where community matters. 

CDS subject matter expert Nicole Guyer will help facilitate the discussions in San Diego and Los Angeles, bringing her own experience to the room while creating space for attendees to share theirs. 

The goal isn’t to tell people there’s one right way to use AI. It’s to get people talking about how they’re actually using it. 

Learning Goes Both Ways

That’s also why this opportunity is meaningful to us. 

Our work with Relativity gives CDS an opportunity to see new technology develop, work with it in practice and share what we learn. But conversations like these give us something equally important: the chance to listen. 

What are practitioners trying to solve? Where are they getting stuck? What have they figured out that someone else in the room could learn from? 

Those conversations help everyone get better; practitioners, CDS and Relativity included. 

And ideally, what we learn in California doesn’t stay in California. The questions and experiences shared in these rooms can help inform future education, resources and conversations for the broader Relativity community.

The San Diego Relativity User Group takes place August 18, followed by the Los Angeles Relativity User Group on August 20. 

Both sessions will include a community-led panel discussion, informal networking and a happy hour, with two RCE credits available to attendees toward eligible Relativity certifications.
