Join global privacy and legislative experts at the Sedona Conference WG11 Midyear Meeting for a collaborative dialogue on emerging data privacy challenges and evolving regulatory frameworks. The drafting team will present and discuss their draft Commentary on statutory clarifications to support consistent interpretation of overlapping or conflicting privacy and AI laws. Using recent developments in Colorado as an example, the session will explore how policymakers and practitioners can avoid compliance risks created by siloed or reactive lawmaking.

Belt, Jr., Managing Director of Consulting, will participate in the featured panel, “Legislative Drafting Considerations: Lessons from Colorado’s Privacy and AI Law Intersection.” Bill and the panel will examine the intersection of privacy statutes and AI governance, and how clearer legislative drafting can support compliance, innovation, and public trust.
