Our Ongoing Community Partnerships 

CDS is proud to support organizations whose missions strengthen the communities where we live and work. Some of our ongoing partnerships include: 

• Food Bank For New York City – Fighting hunger and food insecurity across one of the nation’s most diverse cities. 

• Capital Area Food Bank (Washington, DC) – Providing meals to families in need while addressing the root causes of hunger in the nation’s capital. 

• Georgia Asian Pacific American Bar Association (GAPABA) – Supporting Asian Pacific American lawyers and legal professionals as an affiliate of NAPABA. 

• New York City Urban Debate League – Expanding access to academic debate for students of color and other historically underserved communities. 

• And more – We are continually expanding our community engagement efforts to support impactful, equity-driven organizations. 

Justice for Change: Technology Meets Social Justice 

One of the most meaningful ways we give back is through our ongoing work with Relativity’s Justice for Change program. This global initiative provides technology and expertise to organizations that advance social and legal justice. CDS was among the first in the United States, and one of the earliest worldwide, to partner with Justice for Change. Through our involvement, we support pro bono legal teams by applying our eDiscovery skills and tools to cases that pursue fairness, accountability, and truth. 

Most recently, CDS helped equip legal advocates who work to overturn wrongful convictions and challenge systemic inequities. By offering advanced analytics, expert workflow support, and strong data management capabilities, we help these teams work through large and complex document sets. This support makes justice more accessible for individuals who would otherwise lack the resources needed to pursue it. We view this work as a core part of our mission because it combines legal technology with human commitment to create real impact.

Lending a Hand Locally: Food Bank for NYC 

Closer to home, CDS continues to support Food Bank For NYC through volunteerism and community outreach. This year, our New York office will participate in the organization’s Holiday Food Bank 2 Go initiative. Volunteers assemble meals and essential items for families throughout the city. This effort reflects our belief that access to food, dignity, and stability should be available to every household. By giving our time and energy, we hope to bring warmth and support to those who need it most during the holiday season and throughout the year.

Honoring Georgia’s Asian American and Pacific Islander Community: GAPABA 

CDS sponsored the 11th Annual Georgia Asian Pacific American Bar Association (GAPABA) Gala titled “Midnight in the Garden.” This signature event honors legal and corporate trailblazers who have made significant contributions to the Asian American and Pacific Islander community, promoting leadership and professional excellence.

Celebrating the Champions on Debate: NYC Urban Debate League 

This past June, CDS attended the 2025 NYCUDL Champions of Debate gala, which hosted over 300 guests in NYC. The NYCUDL fosters informed researchers, compassionate thinkers, and courageous leaders. The event celebrated 2025 Champions of Debate, Damian Williams, former US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, and Ben Lee, Chief Legal Officer of Reddit, Inc., as well as student speaker, Nasiah Anderson.

Built by the Community, For the Community: Shelter Youth and Family Services 

CDS proudly continues its support for Shelter Youth and Family Services, an Arlington Heights-based organization serving Chicagoland dedicated to ending the cycle of child abuse by providing a comprehensive support network for children, families, and the broader community. Their mission is to foster safe, healthy, and nurturing homes, giving young people the stability and care they deserve.

As Illinois’ only agency offering fully comprehensive, community-based services for at-risk children and families, Shelter plays a unique and critical role in the lives of those who need it most. CDS is honored to stand alongside Shelter Youth and Family Services as they provide a lifeline for children and families in crisis throughout the Chicago area.
